For the purpose of this question, we are going to view your first blog post (Part “B” Question #1) as an introductory online campaign. Please answer the following questions:
a. What is your intended goal and why? (3 marks)
The intended goal was to give a brief but concise overview to the consumer base about what our business is about, what our products can do for them, and how they are of relevance to them to create brand awareness. Placing the most important information at the beginning with clear keywords mentioning our products will answer the questions the visitor has, as the average visitor expects their queries to be answered immediately on a website, as they dislike looking too deep for them. All of our products are listed right at the beginning so the user decides if they are what they are looking for immediately or not, if they are then in the introductory campaign we proceeded to mention how our main product will solve one of the main needs our target audience has which in this case was options for gift-giving.
b. Who are you writing for and why? (3 marks)
I’m writing for all the users interested or browsing for products related to crocheting that fit into my target audience demographics because they are the segment that would find my content and products relevant to them and to their needs. No matter how good content is optimized, if the information provided serves no relevance to a user, they will bounce off the website and look elsewhere, which is why I’m writing my content for visitors that, if provided with good and clear content, will stay on the site and enjoy the experience provided.
c. What type of “Experience” will you be creating for the visitors? Please explain and justify your reasoning. (2 marks)
The experience I will create for my visitors will consist of relevant, clear, and concise content for my visitors where the answers they are looking for are clearly laid out in an easy-to-read format detailing our products while also drawing them in to browse around the website and check the different options. For example: The crocheted clothing line’s products will be clearly established mentioning not only the types of clothing but also the sizes available. If it resonates with what the visitor is looking for, then the following content will invite them to check out options like “Shop Now” or “Clothing” that will be on our nav after the site is correctly optimized.
